We use Great Pyrenees and Great Pyrenees crossed with Anatolian Shepherds as our Livestock Guardian Dogs for our goats. We have four at this time.
| This is Azlan, my 2 year old Great Pyrenees male. He is the one that usually either makes us laugh the most or aggrivates us the most, take your pick. He has turned out to be an awesome asset to the farm, we probably couldn't do this without him. | ||
| This is Mistletoe, my 2 year old female. We think she is part Anatolian Shepherd. Mistletoe is a rescue dog, I got her from Jordana Kinzie in Van, Tx. She does love the mud, I promise, she is white! | ||
| This is Sassy. She is 3/4 Great Pyrenees and 1/4 Anatolian. She was our first LGD. She was born on November 22, 2008. She is very shy, though, and hard to take a good picture. | ||
| Layin' around enjoying the shade, Mistletoe (actually white now) and Azlan, while Sassy is takin' care of the pups! | ||
| Azlan has been an excellent daddy, tryin' to keep up with the pups and teaching them how to be fierce guard dogs! He just almost looks regal in this one, huh? | ||
| This is Dozer, he is the puppy that Jerry picked to keep. He is actually really surprizing us with his actions and personality. He should prove to be an excellent guard dog, we can't wait. |
